Kalina Vander Poel, Assoc. AIA, ASHRAE

Kalina adds 6 years of architectural research experience to the Mosaic Team. Previously a faculty member at a large, urban university, Kalina has experience monitoring and evaluating building performance with particular emphasis placed on the human experience. From simulation to on-site data collection, Kalina has led multiple pre/post occupancy evaluations on existing and new construction to understand how daylighting, air quality, and space layout impact the success of the built environment. After a four year hiatus, Kalina is excited to be back in Montana where she can apply lessons learned from academia to deliver thoughtful, people-centered design solutions.
